Terms of service
These terms apply when you use SKR.me. By creating links or an account, you agree to them.
Last updated: Oct 2, 2026
The service
SKR.me shortens links, creates QR codes and shows aggregated statistics about how links are opened. The limits and features of each plan are listed on the pricing page. We may change them, and we’ll tell account holders in advance about changes that affect them.
Acceptable use
Don’t use SKR.me for phishing, scams, malware, spam, illegal content, content that sexually exploits children, harassment or impersonation, or to hide where a link leads in order to deceive people. Don’t try to get around limits or blocks, overload the service, or access it automatically other than through the API.
Removing links and accounts
We may disable or delete links that break these terms, appear on lists of harmful sites or are reported to us, without notice. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If you think we’ve made a mistake, contact us.
Your account
Use an email address you control and keep your password and API key safe. You’re responsible for links created with your account. You can delete your account at any time on your account page.
Paid plans
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. You can cancel at any time, and the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. When a paid plan ends, links that go beyond the free plan’s limits get an expiry date. Your rights under consumer protection law are not affected.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep SKR.me running reliably, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted service, and it’s provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect damages or losses caused by links not working. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory law.
Privacy
How we handle data is described in our privacy policy: Privacy
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. We’ll announce significant changes on the site and email account holders in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
