A URL shortener that doesn’t track people
Most link shorteners collect data about everyone who clicks. SKR.me only counts opens per day, so you get useful numbers and your visitors keep their privacy.
Why SKR.me
No IP addresses stored
The country is looked up in the server’s memory from a local database, and the IP address is discarded right away. Nothing is sent to third parties.
No tracking cookies or profiles
Opening a link sets no cookies and builds no profile. We only keep daily totals by country, device type, browser and referring domain.
Clean destinations
Tracking parameters like utm_source, fbclid and gclid are removed from the destination, so ad networks don’t get them through your link.
Questions
Can I still see how many people opened my link?
Yes. You see opens per day and totals by country, device, browser and referring site, plus how many came from the QR code. You never see who opened it, and neither do we.
Do you sell or share data?
No. The service has no ads, analytics scripts or third-party services, and the pages load nothing from other servers.
Is it free?
Yes. You can shorten 1 link a day without an account, and a free account keeps up to 7 active links. Pro adds more links and features for €6.49 a month.
